Bespoke Accommodation and Care for your Horse

Gilfach Equitation is able to offer a small number of Full Livery places on our small, but perfectly formed, yard. Our livery horse owners are fairly carefully "vetted" to ensure that we are able to offer the service they require, and vice versa in terms of horse care. Our standards here are high, but in the most friendly and relaxed of atmospheres. We at Gilfach pay attention to "dotting in the i's and crossing the t's" in order to make our establishment as horse and human friendly as possible. Our prices reflect our professionalism, experience, efforts and investment in our facilities.

The livery we are able to offer ranges from...

Part Livery

We take care of the needs of your horse for you on a daily basis. The service includes feeding, mucking & skipping out, bedding down, setting fair, rug changing as appropriate, turning-out and bringing-in, hosing off muddy legs after turn-out, cleaning out of feeding bowls and feed preparation. This service is available on a 7-day a week basis.

Full Livery

We can take care of the needs of your horse, as per Part Livery, with the additional services of appropriate grooming and exercise (schooling, lunging, hacking. long-reining, ride & lead, what ever is needed) and tack cleaning.

Holiday Livery

If you need to have your horse looked after during a short period away from home, we would be happy (& able) to offer holiday livery for your horse. Terms and conditions on request.

All of the above prices do not include feed or bedding.

Health and Well Being

Shoeing, worming, vaccinations:-

We have a highly experienced, expert visiting farrier to attend to our horses. Your horse can be shod on-site without the requirement of your attendance.

We follow a rigorous Worming program at Gilfach. Your horse will be wormed for you, but you will be charged for the cost of the wormer.

All of our resident horses at Gilfach are inoculated against influenza and tetanus. We insist on tetanus inoculation, but leave it up to you to decide on influenza inoculation. Remember that an inoculated horse may be a carrier of this infection, but may not suffer from the symptoms itself.

Good quality feed, supplements, haylage and bedding - we can supply these to you from our stores.
