Diary (September 2011)
Horses
After a busy summer, Autumn is pretty much upon us - and its only September!! The horses are being prepared gradually for their change of routine from being busy with clients, living out, flies, lots of grass - to a more restful time, rain, winter coats, and for some, nights in a cosy stable!
The human team
Sheila has been treating herself & Tesoro to some training with the Classical trainer, Danny Pevsner. The yard, as a whole, enjoys on a monthly basis an excellent day's coaching from Sue Adams; and we recently have had Russell Guire of Centaur Biomechanics, to help all concerned with improving theirs and their horse's performance.
The Farm
The vibrant colours of the farm are gradually turning into subtle yellow and orange hues. As I type we are awaiting the tail end of Hurricane Katia (???).
We look forward to welcoming you to Gilfach soon - if we survive the above!
