Rosie & Tez enjoying an invigorating hack on a beautiful March day
Hugh - mineral spreading!
Diary (Mid March)
Horses
As our "season" starts to begin, our horses are doing us proud in helping to educate and inspire our guests and clients. The relatively light, but varied, workload is keeping all suitably fresh and enthusiastic. Rosie, our lovely young Luso x Arab mare has started her new regime of being shared between us and a long-standing client. If all goes well, Rosie will make a fantastic "next horse" for our client, and in return will continue to receive a great education and a fun life.
People
The new additions to our team, Leigh and Lauren, are settling in very well. Lots of learning to do, lots of training to be given. As long as they are enthusiastic to do their bit, we can do our bit.
The Farm
Most of the grazing has now been treated with appropriate minerals (Se, Cu, Co). We are looking forward to seeing our horses even healthier and happier than before - watch out!
We look forward to welcoming you to Gilfach soon!
